Viv and Pete, the fabulous friendly couple who own and run Villa Marina, are a rare find insomuch that their care and attention to detail as hosts is exceptional, and nothing seems too much trouble. All of their five en-suite bedrooms are well equipped and beautifully presented. Viv’s style brief is superb; her use of a soft neutral palette complemented by stylish throws, lighting and natural wood, just works so incredibly well, creating a selection of luxury and superior rooms that are spacious, comfortable and elegant. With just 5 bedrooms, it is never crowded which creates a wonderful air of relaxation and intimacy. |

The breakfasts at the Trelawney are fabulous from an extensive menu which includes vegetarian options, all freshly cooked and prepared by Rosie using the finest produce from local suppliers; no cheap ingredients here: so "please leave room for her breakfasts" as they are legendary and set you up for the day. Apart from all the obvious comfort at the Trelawney it is Rosie and Jim’s tireless commitment in providing a fabulous welcoming atmosphere together with their kindness is just amazing that does it for us. |
