Creedy Manor
Creedy Manor was
built in 1901 and was once the ancestral home of Sir Francis Chichester
and lies at Long Barn in the heart of the glorious Devon countryside,
only 7 miles from Exeter & 1˝ miles from Crediton. There are four stone
cottage apartments, each with their own individual charm, character and
all have a comfortable homely atmosphere. The many original
architectural feature really do create a great vibe. There is a neat and
pretty communal garden with barbecue & also on-site laundry facilities. Creedy Manor is made so special by the owners Sandra & Stewart who are
real sweeties and even greet you with refreshments on arrival and are
a mine of local knowledge about all the special places to visit and the
interesting things to see.

a picturesque village amidst the beautiful mid Devon countryside sits
this ancient and enthralling former coaching inn that first opened its
doors to the weary traveller and locals alike over 450 years ago. Today,
it is an award winning inn & restaurant whose walls still echo with its
history. The bedrooms are well equipped, comfortably furnished and
en-suite with power showers The Thorverton serves incredibly good honest
home cooked meals in their restaurant or at the bar including modern and
traditional British comfort food. The bar is traditional, full of
atmosphere and the pretty beer garden has an absolutely stunning
wisteria reputed to be the oldest in Devon.
